At its core, I feel like creativity is about connection, its a form of reaching out. While I've often felt that I write for myself in order to gain a better understanding of the world around me, I also realize its a defense mechanism in the times that I've struggled to feel like worthy as a musician. But lately I've come to admit that I also write for other people. It can be hard when you feel your art doesn't always find an audience, but I'm still driven by the unseen hand of connection. This song is about that simple idea, and the simple nature of creating something for others whether they hear it or not. I hope it finds you well. -Abram
